is the 5-gallon bucket the same chemical as the 1 gallon. I bought your product in the past in the 5 gallon it worked great. just bought a 1 gallon and it did nothing. I will buy a 5 gallon if its different.

You are most likely referring to the 5-gallon Professional Chem-Dip (part #0905), which was discontinued in 2024 due to EPA regulations. This is a differenc formula than Berryman Chem-Dip Carburetor Parts Cleaner (part #0996), which is available only in 1-gallon paint-style cans. It is safe on for use on plastic, rubber, and most paints and metals.  When using this product, please limit soak times to 30-60 minutes per dip, and total soak time to 4 hours.

 

We have introduced a replacement for the 5-gallon cleaner. It is Berryman Professional Carburetor Parts Cleaner (part #1904) and (part #1904C). These are professional-grade immersion cleaners with almost zero odor and a much more favorable toxicological profile.
