Yes, Berryman INTAKE VALVE & COMBUSTION CHAMBER CLEANER (part #2611) can be used in carbureted and TBI engines, but it MIGHT not as simple as using it in a PFI or GDI engine.
If you can tap into the engine manifold vacuum system at the PCV valve or brake booster and confirm that the line goes to the front of the intake manifold and therefore feeds all cylinders of the engine, then that’s going to be the best route to go.
Otherwise, it’s time to improvise. You’ll first need to select the more appropriate flow restrictor, which is generally silver for 1- and 2-BBL carbs and gold for 3-and 4-BBL carbs. You won’t need anything on the end of the flow restrictor—no yellow straw, no blue step adapter—just the small end of the bare restrictor.
At this point, you may need to remove the air cleaner for easy access to the carb/TBI throttle body. Then, you can start the vehicle, aim the restrictor at the choke plate/throttle plate and slowly initiate the flow of cleaner. If the engine tolerates the flow rate as you continue to press down on the actuator, then you can safely lock it in place.
Depending on your setup and to ensure you’re supplying the chemical to all relevant components (carbs/injectors, intake valves, and combustion chambers), you might need to cycle between carburetor barrels/throttle bodies. It’s all pretty straightforward; it just involves an extra couple steps.
