I have a 2017 Kia Sorento with the GTI engine (i think it was.). it started using oil like crazy and at 78,000, Kia replaced the engine, or some big part of it.. Free!  Now the odometer is about to turn 100,000.  Should I be using Berryman B-12?  How often? AND, is there a fuel additive that will clean the throttle body?  That’s on the hundred thousand miles to do list. What else should I be adding to the fuel that might extend the life of the car? Thank you, Doug

For a high mileage vehicle such as yours, we recommend Berryman B-60 High Mileage Fuel System Rejuvenator (part #7516) every 10,000-15000 miles.  This fuel additive contains our strongest detergent package and thoroughly cleans fuel injectors, intake valves, and combustion chambers.
For regular maintenance, you should add a can of B-12 Chemtool Fuel Injector Cleaner (part #0116) every third fill up. This is our flagship fuel additive, great for everyday usage for cleaning fuel injectors and intake valves.

You will not use a fuel additive to clean the throttle body. Please see this link for more info
