Hi, How can I tell when the cleaner has reached the end of its life? I have some black residue in the bottom of the can but not too much. I cleaned one carb with it and then stored the can for about six months. Also, how long can you store the carb cleaner after opening it??

The honest answer is there is no formal shelf life for this product. As long as the product effectively cleans, it is still good to use. It can sometimes last for many years, even decades depending on the usage.

In addition, it can be stored for several years if tightly sealed.
