I've put B12 Chemtool into my cylinders in a bid to free suspected stuck rings. Will it evaporate and/or bypass the pistons down into the sump. Asking as I'd like to be sure before cranking the engine (and causing hydrolock damage) having poured the B12 in through the intake and exhaust ports rather than remove diesel injectors which might be a drama on a 37 year old motor. Many thanks.

In a diesel engine, the cylinder will need to be evacuated of the cleaner/carbon mixture. You can do this any number of ways including with a vacuum pump or even a turkey baster (which should not be used again in the kitchen). Note that B-12 CHEMTOOL will damage most automotive paint and clear coats, so be cautious around such finishes. Hope that helps. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
