Agility in Action During the COVID-19 Pandemic

We demonstrated our agility in action best during the COVID-19 pandemic. When hand sanitizer became difficult to find, we stepped in and redirected our production towards manufacturing it. Using our chemical expertise and manufacturing capabilities, we were able to supply something that was sorely in demand at the time. 

As our Vice President and General Manager, Beau Blankenship, puts it, the goal was never profit – it was for purpose. We were happy to help by donating hand sanitizer to community organizations in need. We have also provided them at no cost to customers purchasing our automotive products. This moment reinforced a long-held belief: supporting our customers and communities matters most when it matters most.

Staying visible and engaged within the automotive industry continues to matter deeply to us. That is why we take part in major trade shows such as the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX), where professionals from across the global aftermarket come together. 

Events like AAPEX give us the opportunity to connect directly with industry partners, share what we are working on, and reinforce that even as a smaller company, we continue to hold a strong and respected position in automotive chemicals.

 At AAPEX 2024, we were honored to receive the Product and Packaging Showcase Award in the Chemicals, Lubricants & Filters category for our Berryman Total Fuel System Cleanup. This recognition speaks to the work happening behind the scenes, including ongoing research, careful formulation, and a clear understanding of where vehicle technology is headed.

As hybrid vehicles continue to gain ground, we have focused on developing solutions that address their specific fuel system needs, helping ensure our products remain relevant as the industry evolves.
